CK25 Joystick control valve issue

The piston to the joystick controller on the up/down for FEL broke off at the base. Looks like it a screw rusted and busted. Suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated. Do I need to replace the whole controller? If so, is there an upgrade to the OEM joystick. Never really liked the action on it.

There is a kit called a selector assembly for 53.48, Error
This will repair yours which is already all metal. The older style had nylon balls. I haven't seen an upgrade beyond what you have.

I just received my tractor and during transit, the joystick fell off. All the parts look in order but will I have to purchase a new selector assembly or can I simply take a part as noted in other posts and reattach?
