I thought someone had once upon a time posted a photo of the CK20 next to a BX, both with the buckets raised. The difference was quite significant. Don't know who or where that photo was posted.
There was a thread and I couldn't find it ,but I'm sure it was 2 neighbors comparing their new machines . One was a CK20 and the other was either a BX or B series machine.
As far as CK20s being too big for 1.5 acres , I have 1.7 acres in Rochester NY, that I'm clearing brush, trash, trees etc. Also some landscapeing on the side too, foundations , stone walls , recontouring lawns etc.
I really can't see a BX size machine doing most of what I've done.
The CK has twice the lift capacity on the loader and 3pt. It's much heavier so more stable on slopes and if doing a lot of loader and dirt work that's real inportant to your ability to move dirt.
Plus I regularly load onto a 1.5 ton ,5yd dump on a Ford SD 4x4, I can't dump all the way to the center, but don't need to, as I can load dirt or gravel to its max load no problem and the load is only just above the sideboards.
If you're only going todo light occasional dirt work and mostly mowing, you can't beat the Kubota MMM sytem for ease of mounting and removal. The Kioti system is a very poor second and can't use the subframe BH with the MMM.
If you're doing more than that you CAN NOT GO WRONG with the CK20, one Heck of alot more tractor for less money and more standard equipment that can be used.
