I'm still considering a CK20, and forgot to ask the dealer the other day when I was there about a QA for the loader. Is there something available from Kioti, or do you have to find an aftermarket solution....... if so, what are you guys using? I am interested in having forks, and possibly a grapple at some point.

Here is Kioti's description,Chuck for the KL 120 FEL:

KIOTI - run ahead of the pack!

In a week or two and I should know first hand also as I will be test driving a
ck 120. Maybe the salesman will demonstrate just how quick it comes off.

Good luck with the hunt.

He is looking for a Quick Attach loader which is basically a plate with locking handles that mounts on the end of the loader arms and it makes changing between different buckets, forks, etc... very quick and easy. What Kioti means by "quick-detached" is that the entire loader, arms and all can easily come off the tractor when not in use.

I beleive a QA setup is aftermarket only on the CK20.

Dmace, that's what I thought. Perhaps ATi has one.
Rimshot, I hadn't been to that page on the web.... thanks for the link.

I think island tractor had that set up on a ck20 120 loader, and it was aftermarket.

Tim, thanks for the link. That is what I was looking for.

I have an aftermarket QA on my CK30, when I get back to Maine later this week.. I will post who's it is.

There are several companies that make aftermarket pin mount to QA adapters for the Kioti CK line (I believe the KL120 and KL130 share the same pin mount dimensions). As noted above, ATI makes one but it is pricy (?$600 or so). Horst Welding in Ontario makes one (I had that model on my CK20, tough but heavier than the ATI or others). Millonzi now makes one I understand. Rick Wallace has somebody who makes a QA adapter for his dealership. Don't know that much about it but if Rick chose it it is likely very good.

I've now got a Kioti standard issue QA adapter on my DK40se. It is considerably lighter weight/construction than the Horst but seems certainlly strong enough. You don't want too much weight tied up in a QA adapter as it comes right off your lift capacity. I don't believe Kioti makes a QA adapter that fits the CK line.

Beside weight as island Tractor pointed out you will want to look at how much further out an attachment/bucket will be with the adapter.

I did not research it extensively because I ended up getting a Woods LC102 FEL w/QA, but I recall someone mentioning the ATI was one of the best in this regard.

I haven't seen all of the options but I'd think the extra distance extended from the pins is pretty close. Add about 2inches for the thickness of the actual attachment plate and then a few more inches for the pin mount. I think they are all likely to be within an inch or so. Where they do differ is in how heavily they are built. I know the Horst is heavier (135lbs) than the ATI or the Kioti DK standard QA but I don't know about some of the other options.

I just checked the QA that is on my CK30, it is a Horst Welding unit. Model number is: BOQF10KIKL120, capacity- 3500lbs. It looks to be the same one that Steve_Miller showed in his post. My guess in the model number that KI says that it is for a Kioti, the KL120 says it is for a KL120 loader. So I am guessing that the pins on the KL120 and KL130 loader are in the same place.

The only 'problem' I've seen with aftermarket QAs is that they are way too hefty for what my loader (L3400 bota - about the same capacity as a CK30) will lift.

The result being that you take away more lift capacity than you really would need to with a lighter QA.

For the L3400, Kubota builds one that I think is about 75lb.

I wonder if someone offers a lighter QA for compacts. We sure as heck don't need a lift capacity than 3500lb!

This is where ATI may have an advantage since it appears their weights vary from model to model. Which makes one believe they make them specifically for each loader or perhaps "class" of loaders. Although since they sell the same model (same weight) for the KL120 and the KL130 there is some "weight waste" for the KL120.

AND do not forget about the plate you will need to weld on your bucket so it will play with the new Q/A (subtracting of course the weight of the old connections you cut off).

THEN you have to do a "Messick" adjustment calculation since the bucket will be moved out at least an inch or two. Good luck with that. :D
