CK20 HST Losing Power

My CK20 HST has recently been giving me trouble. Has been running like a champ, but now it is intermittently losing power.

It will start up no problem, and run strong for a bit, but then act like I am pulling the throttle way down. Wait a bit, then it will run strong again. Then loses rpm's?

Any ideas?

I would start with the fuel filter. How cold has it been in your area? Diesel will wax up when real cold. As a desert rat, I couldn't tell you how cold it needs to be for this to happen, but there are additives that could help. But my first guess is a clogged filter.

Sandlot is spot on. Your description sounds just like a clogged fuel filter.

I agree with the other 2. Desiels loose power when the filter is clogged unlike a gas that will just choke off. If that doesnt solve it then you may have some clogged injectors.
