Ck20 Hour metre gone...

Hi I was just wondering if any of you good folks out there have any idea what may have made my hour meter stop working . It bit the dust at a measly 280 hours.. love this little unit but it's a bummer having to manually keep track of maitenance hours. hope someone can help..

MY DK 45 tack/hour meter broke at 357 hours it was the cable broke 6" from the engine replaced both cable and sheath (covering) together, recommend replacing both cable and covering in case the tube gets scratched-up inside. hardest part getting under dash but i took my time.

Is your tach still operating? My tach and hmeter both quit awhile back. It turnd out to be the tach cable had just came loose where it attaches to the rear of the tach.

Hi john, the Tach started jumping and acting erratic then the hour metre quit and the tach still works fine.... bizzare..the machine was two months out of warranty but no joy with the dealer here..I think I will have a go at removing it and see if I can get it working ..
