ck 30 wont start

i own a kioti ck 30.i use it to clear snow in the winter.i used it the other day to plow.2 days later went out and it wouldnt start.charged the battery overnite tried it today the glow plug indicator came right on(thought that was strange)being it was 10 below 0.i plugged the blockheater in for 3 hrs turns over but wont start.any ideas?thanks,shaun

You need to be more specific. Does the engine crank or not? Does it crank normally or unusually slow? When did you buy the fuel in the tank; is it winter fuel or left over from summer? It is normal for the glow light on the instrument panel to come on as soon as the switch is turned to "on." Then the light should go out when it's time to crank.

You'll probably get more advice after you say if it cranks or not. By the way, is this a gear tractor or HST? Also, is it the version with the stop solenoid on the front of the engine block or on the side (which operates the manual stop linkages)?

at work we got a kubota 30 30 it did this once ..look for the cyilinoid that goes to the injector pump .tap it lightly when you try to start it should click when you turn your key on ,,if no click thats your problum

it cranks over normally and no it usually takes a bit for the glow plug ind. to go out.fresh diesel last week. (hst.)stop solenoid is on the back

Sounds electrical or fuel related to me. Does it crank normally? Stupid question, but make sure your fuel switch is ON. It's on the right side of the engine, 3 position switch. Check the fuel lines. Has it had any previous starting/running issues? And when you say it cranks, do you mean it just cranks and cranks but never turns over, or that is cranks, catches and dies? I assume the latter. If so, it's probably time to start testing and bypassing the electrical components. Had this exact same problem on my H last year (partly why I got the CK) It was the ignition coil going bad, but there isn't any such thing on a diesel.
