ck 20 hyds pedal

On my ck 20 the the pedal does npt seem to have and room when you push down to go back, therefore you barely crawWhen you go fowards it works just fine, Does anyone know if there is an adjustment for this. There is only about an inch before it touches the floorboard. thank you for your help

I have heard of the pedal getting bent on a few when someone stepped on it too hard or stepped on it when there was something under the pivot. You should be able to grab a hold of the front of the pedal and pull up with some leverage to straighten it out. Do this with the tractor off of course.

In the end, you should be able to bottom out the linkage in both directions before bottoming out the pedal on the floorboard. Don't stand on the pedal. I've bent mine too and I think they bend pretty easy which is better than bending something inside the trans!

Mine has bent too on my CK30hst. Maybe to big of a foot or in to much of a hurry! Just bend it back as mentioned.

Hi Johnpenny
Take it a step further and make sure you lube every part of the linkage under the floor. Especially where the shaft goes into the casing. Kioti recommends that if this problem of hard operation of the rocking pedal that you have your dealer install a bushing that is used in the larger CK models in the case where the shaft passes through it.
Dirt and corrosion build and jamb up the shaft, penetrating oil works very well.
