CK 20 HST Filter

I was going to buy a HST filter for my CK20 the dealer wanted $77.95Cdn for it, is this price normal, are there aftermarket filters available etc.(part #s) also what should I expect to pay for a hyd. filter. Thanks in advance Ray. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

I have a CK30hst and don't remember exactly but my Kioti filter was around $22 US. Other CK20 users may be able to give you a more exact price. The exchange rate still wouldn't make it cost that much. Are there some high import taxes? Maybe one of the member/dealers here could send them to you cheaper. Some members have found aftermarket filters for their particular tractors but the prices are fairly equal. I stay with Kioti filters instead of finding something that just fits and maybe doesn't do as good a job at filtering.

I am getting ready to order my CK20Hst filters and got a quote of: HST Hyd Filter $63.31 ea.
That is US price. Appears the HST Hydraulic filter is kinda pricey! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Prices are all over the place, and the HST filter appears to be the most expensive of all. I've seen them from $27- $44 in the States.

This is not a filter that gets changed all that often. Check your schedule for the next change.

I prefer using the original filter type, and that is a small cost to ensure that I'm using just what is correct for my tractor. Some of the aftermarket filters have been a little longer, a little shorter, not just right like the original filter.

I paid $50. US for the HST filter. After visiting several filter manufactuers web sites I was able to cross the WACO WP 18 over to a NAPA 1664 also found numbers for Hastings, Fram, and a couple others but can't seem to locate my paper with the numbers right now. The NAPA filter was about $11. US. The hydraulic filter from the dealer was about the price as the NAPA HST filter.

There are 2 different filters on the Kioti HST
One that's around $12-$15 and one that's $40-$50

The Napa one you have is cheaper filter from the dealer.

No its not it is the replacement for the WACO WP 18 that is the one that is in the operators platform. the hydraulic filter that goes under the tractor is the cheap one
