CK 20 HST 50 hr service

Just made it to 50 hrs. What is everyone using/recommending for replacement fluids for the CK 20 HST. Thx

With blessings from Kioti USA, I used the Universal Premium Hydraulic Fluid from TSC...also used the SAE 90 gear oil from TSC...and used Delvac for the first go round and Rotella the second time for engine oil...

Check your PM for a long blurb i wrote on the 50 hour servicing...

Thx Mathey, really appreciate the info. The manual says SAE 90 gear oil for the front axle. You use SAE 30?

Warren, AW68 is a good hydro fluid that is allowed to be used. According to a Kioti engineer yesterday in N.C., the factory uses a high grade hydro fluid in the HST and the front axle, the customer can use 90w for the axle after purchase. Just check the manual for recommendations on classification of the oil. John

I was under the impression that the dealer had to perform the 50 hr service for warranty reasons. Am I wrong? I hope so. I would rather change the fluids myself.

I would say it depends on the dealer you're "dealing" with. I buy all my supplies for service from my dealer and do the work myself. He knows the work is getting done, and there is no requirement that the work be dealer done, just keep the receipts to prove you bought the filters, oil, etc.
Just as when you buy a new car, you can do the service yourself. John
