Circular saw blade shim

I have a Porter Cable 4.5 inch trim saw that is no longer in production. It uses a 4.5 x 3/8 blade, which are very difficult to get. I have a new never used blade that fits the arbor but will not tighten up. Is there a place where I can buy a washer type shim? I'm sure I don't have a thin enough washer to modify. As usual, this is my go to place for help. Thanks Folks, smoker

Try a fender washer, they are thinner than a standard washer.
