Completed and installed a chute blocker on my Kubota ZD331.
Used scrap metal I had laying around, and an old door knob/handle for the lifting arm. I also used some old hemi joints for the pivot points i had taken off a Harley Davidson shifting linkage.
I spent about $10.00 for the spring, a little hardware and paint.
Operates pretty smoothly. Will put it through it's paces next spring.

Nice work!

I've been always wanting to do something like this after seeing this option come factory on certain mowers.

Nice work, looks factory. Handle is a little fancy though.

looks good. I do something similar to my mowers except mine are slightly more heavy duty, and with my guys using the machines "heavy duty" usually isn't strong enough. but if it's just yourself using it im sure it will work fine. It sure is nice being able to control the clippings when you're mowing next to houses, flower beds, etc.

I and my son are the only operators, so I think it will hold up without abuse.
Thanks for the comments.
