Chipper Chipper - Woodward Crossing

Have been reading the forums for several weeks gathering information about CUTs and chippers. Decided on a Wallenstein BX42 chipper and based on the comments from members purchased this from Woodward Crossing.

They are great to work with and when you spell customer service it needs to be spelled...Karen.

Not to get it hooked up and try it out.

Ive been looking at the bx 42 also, just need to find the extra cash. Direct drive no belts, really great machine, from what i can tell it feeds really well, no need to force feed it. Cant wait to finally get mine...... someday

I have the larger BX-62 on my Kubota Grand L3940. It pushes the horse power limit a little bit but I can still chip 6" trees about 12 feet long before it will stall. And that's before they are limbed
This thing will self feed like nobodys business. Don't ever try to hold back a limb as it's feeding in 'cause it will pull your arms off . I see no reason to add the hydraulic feeder unit....just not worth the extra money. I researched chippers for a long time before going with the Wallenstein. It was a great decision to buy this thing. You are going to love yours .
I chip right into my pickup truck and then spread the chips around the farm.
A great piece of equipment!

Yes...I bought my BX-62 from them...EXECELLENT OPERATION...

Wallenstein's work very nicely without hydraulics...when they don't self-feed smoothly...it's time to think about sharpening the blades...

Anybody use a Merry Mac PTO Chipper/Shredder?
Merry Mac PTO Chipper/Shredder, Model# TPH-122M | Chipper/Shredders | Northern Tool + Equipment
I like the idea of the shredder. I have an old one mounted on a cart with gas motor. I had bought it used from a landscaper and it was missing most of its safety equipt. I was thinking of getting the PTO version. I like being able to chip and then shred the the reaming small stuff that a chipper doesn't handle as well.
