On the base model Chinese mini excavators with the gas engines I've noticed there are three part numbers for the main drive motors. I think they're all the same size but with a minor difference in CC. The part numbers are BM6-310, BM6-315, and BM6K-315. The part number on AGT website is the BM6-310 for sale at $230. By far the lowest price out there I can find. Any thoughts on if these are universal to install?

Good luck. Chinese Part numbers often depend on the day of the week they were manufactured

Yeah, that's what I mean but with the drive motors in this case. All three part numbers have the same dimensions to fit onto the machine. The 310 to 315 has to do with the internal hydraulics, which typically there's some play in this. The K is probably a company just indicating it's a 6000 size motor.

Probably not universal between the (BM6-310, BM6-315) and BM6K-315. Which motor are you replacing? The BM6-310 and 315 look like splined shaft motors. The BM6K-315 looks like a tapered shaft motor with nut. The numbers on the end are the displacement in CC.

The splined or tapered with nut shafts should still be universal. They're on the outside of the machine. Easier to go to a tapered shaft since the nut and pin come with it. Here's a splined version on a MIVA VA13.

I guess I don't understand what you're asking. You can't just change a spline drive motor to a taper drive setup. And I don't see a splined motor in your picture. So, I'm lost. 🤪

The splined motor is typically used as the rotator not the drive.

I think you answered my question. I thought the MIVA had a splined, are they different from the AGT models that use the BM6-310?

The MIVA probably does have a splined motor, but it's most likely used as the rotator motor. The BM6-310 is a splined motor and also likely used as a rotator motor. I can't tell in your picture of the "MIVA" but a close up look at a sample AGT (shown below) clearly shows a nut on the drive sprocket. That's surely a tapered-shaft BM6K-315 style motor--On the DRIVE.

You seem confused about where the motors are used. There are typically three motors used in the Mini Excavators. One to rotate (swing or slew) the cab and two as drive motors (one for each track). It's also not enough to know just the 7-8 prefix motor numbers because the BM6K-315 is also available in a splined version.

One Hydraulics is giving the part number as BMK6 and a model of AGT is giving BM6K. Is this a typo on AGTs part?

Could be. You decide.
