Chinese GX 120 Tiller rotation direction

I am putting the tines on my tiller, but before I red Loctite them on I want to make sure of the rotation direction. As you face the back of the tiller as hooked up to the PTO, which way do the tines turn? Do they turn, top of the tines forward towards the back of the tractor, as a tire turns on a car when going forward, or the opposite as going in reverse?

kbone1, See if you can install the PTO shaft and turn it in the direction that the the tractor PTO shaft turns when engaged.

You may need to use a long screw driver or something through the yoke of the pto shaft to help you turn it.

YES: as stated above, rotation is top forward twards the rear tires, which tosses dirt forward and then re-tills the tossed dirt, flufs it up really good.

also make sure you're tines are installed RIGHT, they can be installed backwards, the tip of the tine should be pulled through the dirt not hit first... when rotation as stated above, they are easy to break if installed backwards. I haven't broken one yet after 3+ seasons and mostly tilling un-explored dirt. I've hit some good sized rocks with them too. one medium sized rock with the tip hitting dirt/rock first will snap off the blade at the bend.
