I repurposed a shed so that I could take a 15 bird flock from a lady. Good little project for the family that I thought I would share.

The next time I need more than one post hole, I will be getting a 3pt digger, done being macho.

The one thing I did with my coop is to cut a foot off the bottom of all the doors and gates, and then fill in the wall with either solid wood or wood and wire. Keeps from having to dig all the snow-turned-to-ice at all the walkways all the way down to ground level, I only have to go within a foot now. That last 6" or so gets to be a real pain in a year with heavy snow.
