Yeah they like chicken, chicken bones, cooked, raw or on foot dont matter to them. We dont let them eat a lot at one time unless they steal them. One of my friends brings his deer carcasses by for the dogs that stoy outside. Its all good till the wifes great dane runs in with a deer leg lol.

Yeah, during the winter you can find many deer bones in our yard. They eat them on and off for a few month - and in the spring they get chopped up by the grass cutting deck.

OMG My cat is nuts for fresh rabbit, he was feeding off a kill for 3 days, came in everyday stuffed and all bloody. Thought he was getting into the garbage and eating sauce, but then I saw him in the bushs with his head inside the carcass, just like on Wild Kingdom :)

Was a storey today in the news about California Kit Fox.

We were concerned about feeding dogs raw chicken then having the dog come up and lick the kids, etc.

There's worse things they can eat/lick before they come up and give you a big sloppy smooch! :D

A friend who hunts deer has given me a pile of bones a few years running. I have two German Shepherd Dogs, a male and female, both large for GSD. My boy is over 130 lbs and my little girl is over 80 lbs. I chucked a big bunch of them (all of them actually, since I thought they would be chewing on them for days) out one day in the morning when I left for work and when I came back that night, there wasn't anything left. I was quite surprised they ate every single piece. As it turned out, giving them that much at once wasn't a smart move...the change in diet gave them both the trots...
