I have a 1994 ish Ford 250C (roughly the 4000-5000 ford series tractor). The owners manual I have says to check the oil level for the hydraulics/rear end by removing a plug on the right side and making sure the oil is level with the bottom. However.... the tractor has a dipstick on the left side that appears to routed into the pipe the hydraulic oil filter is on (on the left side). the stick indicates the oil is above full but nothing is coming out of the level hole. In addition the manual makes no mention of the dip stick. Not sure what to go by.
