Cheapest way to add remote to kuboa m7040?

You are right.

But

Feathering is just small movements of the lever.

Some valve feather better than other because how the spools are designed.

So you added a splitter/ hydraulic multiplier with solenoid operated valves? Does the hydraulic multiplier work fine? I have seen some that make two from one advertised for about 500.00 on ebay (Iowa farm equip I think)

They are electric diverters. The multipliers that you are talking about are basically the same thing. Problem with them in my opinion is that you then have all this weight hanging off of the existing remote outlets and they extend quite a way out from the OEM outlets.

My remote kit runs $649 shipped to you and a double set would be $954. My kits are a bit more $$$ because I provide a nice control grip and whatever hoses required to get everything operational.

You can shop around and save a few $$ getting different parts from 5-6 different places.

In my opinion, you are better off spending a few hundred dollars more and just get the 2nd OEM remote. It should be $833 as long as you do the installation.

Forgive my ignorance but what are the abbreviations you used and where would you put that in a cab tractor? The tractor has a front end loader as we'll if that matters? And one remote with space for 2 more factory remotes. Thank you very much for your help

Float is a term used for a valve spool that when engaged, will allow the implement to follow the contour of the ground.

PB stands for Power Beyond. You may see the term as PB, PBY.

It means that that port will allow high pressure to pass on to the next valve with a PB adapter or sleeve.

What it does is to separate the gallery flow into the OUT fluid which is the cyl expended fluid, and PB fluid/pump fluid.

Do you have other controls on the batwing mower such as to control different sections to fold up, etc?

pmsmechanic has stated the least expensive, just two long hose from the front curl port on the FEL valve.

You could leave the loader on or take it off, but keep the valve on the tractor.

If you have regen, stay out of regen and the batwing flow will work OK.

You will have to bungee the FEL lever to keep the flow going.

One note here is, that if the FEL curl circuit uses all the fluid, you can't use the 3pt until you release the curl lever.

I have OEM remotes on my Kubotas and worked it all out first by comparing prices and aggravation possible. For me, the OEM factory setup was what I went with. It looks like it belongs, works perfect and there was no learning curve for me. Hydraulics is difficult for me to grasp and a small mistake on my part could easily blow all of the savings.

When it comes to selling a tractor that has had a lot of modifications to fit some ones needs if they are not done right, and look like factory they actually lower the resale value of the tractor. Spend your money wisely!

Looking back through the post, I think I would use a diverter valve for the two bat wings if they each have one DA cyl.

The diverter would plug in to the one remote you have now, and then with the six ports, two are IN ports, two go to batwing 1 cyl and the other two go to batwing 2 cyl.

A switch operates the diverter to switch ports.

Your remote lever will then control each cyl.

You can use the remote valve to do this or the FEL curl circuit to do the same.
