I have a 2005 L3400 with only 155 hours and recently noticed I had lost some lifting power in the FEL. Now I am hearing a chattering noise that I am quite sure is coming from the front hydraulic pump. The lift on the FEL, and to a lesser extent the curl, is now a little erractic as if there is air in the lines. I changed the hydraulic filter hoping that possibley the was a clog in there that was disrupting the fluid flow. Didn't help. I did run my bush hog this weekend for about 2 hours and noticed the noise quited down some as the fluid heated up (and I assume thinned out?). I had the dealer do the required 50 hour service - for close to $400 - and already had two warranty repairs so I am not happy. Any suggestions?
