Just got a 1974 510 backhoe/loader with a powershift tranny. I need to change the Hydrolic/tranny oil and filters. Does anyone have any suggestions for me. I never worked on this thing before, and I don't even know where the filter are located. I talked to someone today who said that it would take 10.5 gallons of oil, but is there anyplace that i can double check this information? Also I keep reading about a mid mounted hydrolic oil reserve, but i have no clue where that is. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Look on ebay for manuals or the reprint web sites ssbtractor.com, jensales.com etc. Cheaper than dealer. Also ytmag.com may have additional tech help for your new beast!
