Thank you ever so much Storm.....one other thingy I forgot to ask.... silly old me, although I have an idea on where and how to drain the old fluid out, are they the main drain plugs on the bottom of the axle case or are there more that I didn't notice, and will these two drain plugs empty the hydraulic pump etc without running the engine ,I don't want to leave too much of the old fluid inside if I can help it.....much appreciated for all your help and patience......take care....Ampa....

I am not familar with the model you have, but a little general info: Most gear tractors use a Universal Tractor Fluid to lubricate the rear end, transmission and hydraulic system. One fluid does them all. As a rule there is one drain plug located somewhere on the bottom of the unit by the transmission or rear end. Most have a filter that should be changed but several just have a screen somewhere that needs to be cleaned, on my Bolens I just use diesel fuel to clean it. The fill is usually located somewhere around the seat area. Hope this helps!

Just wondering if anyone has had the problem after having water in the hydraulic fluid and running2lots of diesel through the system and replacing hydraulic fluid and cleaning out the gauze filter that their hydraulics barely work. ?....

Hi Everyone. .
Just wondering if anyone has had the problem after doing the fluid change that the system had water in it after flushing the system with 3 lots of diesel then filling the system with new hydraulic oil that the hydraulics really don't work well very slowly when tractor is revved to 2000 revs but once you put your hand or foot gently on the lift arms the arms don't move...
Regards Mark

incredible these last comments and questions answered my soon to be asked questions, minus one, where can you find a shifter boot for the
g152? thanks in advance

I bought a shifter boot from a Massey Ferguson dealer several years ago. Massey offered the same tractor wearing red paint back in the early- mid nineties. White also sold them for a few years with silver paint.
