Changing Frint Tires x-758

I need to change the front Tires on my X-758 just to hard on the grass .
What tire would you change to Turf or ???

Maybe there needs to be some adjustment in the proportioning valve.. as I believe this is HFWD (full time 4wd).
Quoting from your manual...

The transaxle hydraulic pump also supplies pressure to the front axle, which contains two independent hydraulic drive motors, for the left and right front wheels. A proportioning valve, controlled by steering linkage, adjusts the relative speed of the two front drive motors to eliminate scuffing while turning.

I would agree with Beenthere on this. Never have had problems with either the x749 or x758 scuffing the grass in tight turns.

Back in 2010 I had an X748 with the HDAP tires and they were awful turf "scuffers". I had it back at the dealership and they never could get the problem fixed. I showed them on concrete how it would leave huge black tire marks on a tight turn for which they agreed. They also noticed it on turf. OF course the explanation from the territory rep from Deere was that it was "normal". They tried adjusting the front to back ration of the 4 wheel drive and got it a little better but not completely corrected. I ended up trading for a 1026r sub-compact utility with the MFWD which I can engage when I need it and leave in two wheel drive when I don't. Not as convenient as the X tractors but I don't find the scuffing when I am mowing (unless I forget to disengage the front drive.)

My ground is very soft and the front tires are just to aggressive for my grass . I never had a problem with the X-720 or X-750 both with turf tires . This winter I will have turf tires put on .
