Changing blades on a Kioti 72 in. finish mower

Hold the sharpen part of the blade and loosen against that direction. Blade hitting against grass will try to tighten the bolt/nut.

On my regular lawn tractor (riding mower) this is difficult to do with just a socket on a ratchet or breaker bar. But an air impact wrench made the job (loosen the nut) very easy. The same is true for an edger blade. I expect the same is true for the tractor mower but I haven't had to do that yet.

If. Didn't have an impact wrench, changing mower blades would convince me to buy one.
