Change to Syn

Billy, Wal Mart has had the 5 quart jugs of Mobil 1 on sale just recently for about nineteen dollars. Some of the auto parts stores are running a rebate and the place I get my oil changed at gave me a coupon for a CD case for using Mobil 1. The point is that I rarely pay full price, they seem to always have some sort of promotion so I stock up when they do. Well good luck with the 1, I am sure the Rottella syn would have been fine as well. J

OK guys, the results are in. After changing to synthetic oil (in my Nissan 4x4), it shows a 10% increase in gas mileage.

I know that isn't much but the way I see it, the savings on gas will pay for the oil change.

I agree. I am pro synthetic, but 10%? hmmm, that is hard to believe.

I didn't believe it either. I checked it after the first tank and it showed a 10% increase. I thought maybe it was a fluke so I checked it after the second and third tanks and all showed a 10% increase.

These were all full tanks of gas .
