I while ago my father was felling a tree and long story short it fell the wrong direction and landed on the 3 Point skidder. And after that the 3 Point won't lift. It does have an external lift cylinder. I wasn't sure if it had also had an internal lift mechanism. Where would be a good starting point to diagnose what is broken.

On another point, is there a procedure to change the hydraulic fluid and filter?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

By looking at some pictures I don't see a an external lift cylinders. I would say the rod went thru the piston because a spike like that would over ride the safety valve.

Do you have a parts diagram, or the exploded view of the internals?
It appears that the Massey 1547 is the same tractor. So hopefully parts are easy to come by.

No I don't. Put most 3points work about the same and have for many years.
