I sold a running 266 parts saw for $30 plus shipping. Wish I would have went ahead and did a full rebuild on it. But wasnt into those back then.

IT was a good saw. I dont really know the difference between the 266se and an xp saw. But back then, the 266se was my ONLY saw. And dad had a 120si. (same as 6800i). And the 266 would hang. Could run them saws side by side and there wasnt a difference in speed at all. Little different ergonomically, but powerwise, good saw.

So far from what I read, the Jonsered crowd is awfully quiet and I have two that's 10 years old, guess I'm a crowd of one.

Edit, or we'r all watching the ball game, go Cubs
I got a jonnyreb 2252 aka husky 545. (I had both but like the red color, handle angle and the oilcap better on the jonny. I won't ever buy anything but husky or JR saws now.

I like the Husqvarna professional saws. I have a 346XP, 357XP and a 372XP, all with modded mufflers. That said, I also have a Husqvarna 345 and it is a nice lightweight with decent power. All my saws get a chisel chain first thing. I know some say they dull more quickly in dirty wood, but I haven't found that to be the case, and I've cut a lot of stumps off at ground level for trails.

I used to have a Homelite Super EZ that was really nice to use. It was old school, but light with lots of power. Didn't like the lack of a chain brake.
