Chains Chains on a 2305

I'm thinking on putting chains on my rear tires, I haven't really needed them yet but it would be nice to have them. It looks like wheel spacers might be needed does anyone know and also is there a difference on the chains depending on what tire tread I have. I've got r4 tires.

On my 4310 with R4's, I picked up about 1.5" on each side by swapping sides with each wheel. That gave me enough clearance to install chains.

On my 2210 I could put chains on with out wheel spacers.
But with 2305 Has subframe for BH. and chains would hit the subframe . Found wheel spacers on Ebay both sets for about 10.00 more than JD wanted for one set.

Chains I have are one I made from Car chains. welded two cross links together . Been working for the last 4 winters.

The wheel spacers designed for the X7XX series garden tractors fit right on a 2305.
