What type of scrap iron do you have in the box? How much weight do you think you have in it? I've used dry lake sand but have a tough time keeping the cats out of it in the winter and like the idea of using iron. With the increase in density it would allow a lot more of the box for useful items.

Some lead, some old window weights & some old machinery frame pieces. Including the box itself, a little over 600# (My 790 calls for 618#), I weighed the scrap as I loaded it! ~~ grnspot
