I've been lurking here on and off for the last year or so. I have really picked up a lot of knowledge on this forum but spend way too much time here ! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I got some LIST prices today for the following tractors:

C38L $13978

C-50 FEL $2790

C42L $14732

I understand that prices have gone up due to changes in specs from the previous models. What type of negotiating room is there in the pricing?

My primary use for the tractor will be for bushogging various fields totaling about 35 acres. I'd like to be able to use a 6' cutter. About 2/3 of the fields are on a hillside.

I'm inclined to go with the C42L.

Seems like I remember someone saying 15% off isa good price but I have no first hand knowledge. 15% would make the C47L with 6' FEL and R4 a little over $17k. I think that would be an awesome price and doubt you will find many offers that low. Maybe 10% off would be more reasonable?

Anyone know if the new engines are IDI or DI? I haven't seen the specs yet.

My brochure says that they are indirect injection.
