search ebay for backhoe attachment. There are some listings for new and used. A lot of them offer shipping.
I bought a new Jinma for a good price on ebay and modified the subframe to fit my 3510 Branson.

HIPO - for the record, in case you or your neighbor don't know, Century 2535 is the same as the Branson 3510.

where in Ks are you?

My neighbor probably does not know that, and I'm not all that familiar with the brand. So he could outfit his machine with a Branson backhoe?
Hoyt, Jackson County, gotcha a nice fly over U-75 at 150 road now!!!!!!
I'm on the outskirts of Topeka.

Shouldn't be a problem - of course the closest Branson Dealer is on the other side of Junction City, so if he can find a shop closer to home that can fit a different brand to the tractor he might be in better shape.
Who does his maintenance now, or is it fairly new?

I notice you have a DK35 - now that you've seen your neighbor's 35 HP Century in action how would you compare the 2? pretty similar, trade offs? Not being a brand snob, just curious and trying to learn more about different units.

I like his quick disconnect bucket, and where they mounted the joystick for loader operations (on the right hand fender). It's a very smooth running little tractor, dual PTO speeds would be very nice. I am still partial to my Kioti however. I've had 2 of them, both DK35's, not as much hanging down underneath the Kioti as the 2535, fuel tank and hyd. hoses look like they sit a little low maybe it's just his setup though. We both went up against a tree stump with our loaders (at separate times) that I had loosened up with the backhoe. He wasn't able to pop it loose and I was, his argument was that he loosened up more for me, all in good fun (having a backhoe as weight to the rear didn't hurt either)
To me any tractor is a good tractor now days and his Century is a worthy opponent, I think he bought his new for around $15,500 with a loader and R4's 4 or so years ago. I bought my 1st Kioti around the same time for $16,500 with a loader and R4's.
The place that sold him his tractor is no longer in the Century business.
