Cement Mixer Hydraulic Hookup

I picked up a 3 point cement mixer today from TSC. I ordered a third SCV kit from my JD dealer on their recommendation but I am not sure that it is what I really need or that it will work for this application. The mixer has a single acting dump cylinder that you release pressure from to dump the mixer. It is has a single hose. I would expect that I need a control on the rear of the tractor so that I can see what is happening when I dump the cement but it is not at all clear to me what to look for. I am sure this is covered somewhere in the forum but I did a search on cement mixer and did not find anything that answers my question.

If you can dump the concrete OK while in the tractor seat all you have to do is hook the hose to one of your remotes. The simplest thing to do if you want to stand by the mixer while you dump is to rig a long rod to the valve
that you can push or pull by hand. If you're doing something long like a sidewalk or foundation it'd be helpful to have at least two people anyway so one can move the tractor as needed. Otherwise you're going to be on and off the tractor.
