Cell phone holders in Vehicles ??

Cell phone use while driving is beyond scary in Sacramento. I cannot even count the times I've seen a weaving driver looking at his or her lap and tapping on a cell phone. Half the time a line of cars stopped at a red light will just sit there when the light turns green, because someone is jxxxxing off with their cell phone. There are not enough police in the galaxy to deal with this. The light at the end of the tunnel is self driving vehicles, which cannot possibly be worse than the everyday drivers on the road today.

In most states you will find the law enforcement is exempted from the hand held device laws, as it was explained to me it was because they are such highly trained drivers they can do so safely while us peons can't walk and talk at the same time much less drive and that was said with a straight face.

I really like my Steelie by Nite Ize. Small 3/4 steel ball on the dash and small magnet on phone. Holds the phone in any direction you like and very unobtrusive.

I saw those at Buckee's recently.

I kinda like these when binoculars are not in it. They have a model for other stuff also.

Just got one of these as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately I also received the wireless coaster as a charger too. Will have to pick one or the other as the charger won't work with the magnetic ring attached to the phone.

They need something to fund their Military Style Police Force. You can't raise money from Welfare people, but if they have a vehicle and a cell phone, they are fair game.

I put it in one of 3 cupholders in my center console of my Chevy truck. Works well there.

I found the bottom of my phone fits into the latch for the console lid and will sit at an angle.........leaving the cup holders free to accumulate junk or hold cups.
