CCY EX3200 Questions

Guys, I feel kinda stupid asking this. I'm trying to service the transmission on my tractor. However, even with the manual set, I'm having trouble finding the strainer. Can someone give me a hint? I've looked underneath, on both sides and under the seat. I've got to be looking right at it and not seeing it.

Also, what hydraulic fluid are you guys using? I have some of the CCY fluid, but not enough for a full change. The problem with the CCY fluid is the lack of a local source. The closest dealer is now a two hour drive.

Any help is appreciated.

Sockwell, I called my local CCY dealer with my fluid service questions. The CCY service manual showed the engine oil drain plug on the side of the oil pan. I looked on the bottom of the pan, and saw the drain plug (painted yellow). Try the your service dept. at a CCY or Yanmar dealership.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't feel so bad when I talked to the mechanics at two different CCY dealers and they didn't know either. It seems that, when doing hydraulic servicing, they don't pull and clean the strainers. They only change the two spin-on filters.

I figured out the location by searching under the John Deere section for "790 strainer" when I remembered those tractors were basically the predecessors to the EX series. I've learned a lot from the green section for the EX's hydraulics.
