CC Z-Force 50 vs CC GT 1554

If you liked the ZF; I think you'll be more than happy with the M50. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The only thing I'll note: I thought the M50 is more of a ZF on steriods than a 50" Tank; not a bad thing at all though.

Yeah nobody has the Z's in stock right now...well at least the Z-44's, Z-50's are available. I have recieved two 44's in the past month-and-a-half and the only reason I got those two is because they were both presold.

The M50 is a great home-owner unit...heck its the largest home-owner unit they make. If you don't mind me asking what did you give for it?

Shipped to my door @ $4999, which includes taxes. I get it Friday of this week. I really didn't want to spend that much, but all my local dealers didn't have ZForce 44 or 50. So I settled on spending the extra $1,000. Does the M50 have a nice "striping" effect?? I know some aftermarket companies make a striping kit for some ZTR mowers. Any thoughts?

It won't be as nice as on the "true commercial" decks but it will look better than any ridding mower. I personnaly like the M50 and try to put people who are looking at the Z-50 on the M50. You paid list (MAP) but I imagine he isn't charging you anything to deliver so you did alright. Did he have one in stock or did he say he would have it Friday?

The mower came in that morning and my salesman called me while it was still on the truck. It is being delivered to my house on Friday. Basically, the total included the taxes and $100.00 for shipping. I am psyched to say the least.

Hobbs- you got a good one. I noticed the M50 isn't a Tank, but, its a tank. You got one sweet machine. Please post pictures.

The M Series of ZT's are great machines. You're going to really like it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The only thing I wish the M50 had was the "Command Cut System". This gives the lawn a nice "striping" effect. I emailed CC today about if it could be installed on the deck, but have not heard back as of yet. If anyone has some info about that, please respond with some info. I will post some pics after I receive it tomorrow.

It might not have the weight of a fab deck, but I don't see any reason you couldn't mount a striping bar or some rollers. While you're posting pictures, can you get a close up of the deck? Curious too what CC writes you about it.

Regardless, I'm still thinking you'll be very happy with your purchase. For all the obstacles around here that could mess up the nice striping effect, I'm happy without it.

My M50 was delivered yesterday. I will get some pics when I get some free time today.

I received an email response to my question regarding the striping roller from Ron Betz at (get this) mtdproducts.com. He said ( None at this time ) . At the rear of the deck it does have a roller, but I don't think it is used for striping.
