Check:

Gas cap vent
Fuel filter itself
Fuel pump (Kohler's fuel pumps are not exactly impressive in quality)

WHERE'S MY SIGN?

Fixed the fuel problem.
Put some gas in the tank.
I shouldn't have told this on myself.
Oh well you guys could probably use a good laugh.
I guess I need red dye in the gas so I can see it in the tank.
By the way I'm getting new glasses.

That's like the one time I replaced the distributor on one of my cars, and couldn't get it to even so much as fart for a half hour-- then there was the positive power lead, just hanging there :)

Just so y'all aren't alone here's something for you.

Had to replace the voltage regulator/rectifier on my 4-wheeler...Had to take the back rack, back plastic and side panels off to get to it...got the old off, new on, plastic back on, rack, etc...spent a day.

Turn key on, push start button...nothing....made sure battery was charged..nothing...had indicator lights but nothing.......

Jimmied wires, checked fuses, etc...spent about 2 hours and getting really ticked....then I happen to see the off/run switch was moved to off! moved it to run and it fired right up! :D

Sometimes it's something real simple and we try to make a major repair out of it!

Yesterday morning I filled it up and it took right off & I did quite a bit of mowing then .
later yesterday eve. i mowed some more and put it away .
About 10 pm I decided to mow a patch abour 50 x100. Made a couple of passes and the thing stopped dead in it's tracks on me.
*The first thing I did was fill it up again.
Hit the switch and sure enough it fired right up.

* The only snag here was I didn't have any gas in my can as I'd used it all when I filled the tractor earlier yesterday morning so I had to take the can to the service station about 11 pm last night and get some gas for the tractor.
