CBD/hemp oil, anybody use it?

Interesting. Clearly there's a lot of big-money speculation in hemp, CBD, marijuana. Your example sounds like the California gold mines story for the past 160 years - The real money is made by the promoters and they take out their profit from the investors before any production begins. Then most of the time the gold vein is discovered to be limited and the startup cost isn't recovered before the gold runs out. Promoters win, investors lose. Then re-name the mining corporation and start again with a new site, and new marks to fleece. Sounds like growing dope is the modern version of this.

And on the local front: I recently got a letter saying it was sent to all small-acreage parcels in my region asking if I wanted to allow a marijuana grow, on an acre of my orchard. (Its 11 acres overall, 8 in production). Oh H- no! We read of home-invasion robberies, illegals hidden as grow labor, all kinds of problems. No way!!! I didn't answer.

I think we are going to see the big tobacco companies take over growing marijuana, undercutting and replacing the stoner growers.

For quite a few years I put up with a extremely sore lower back , after sitting in a tractor , truck or easy chair when I stood up and tried to walk I would have to stop and straighten my self back to a good posture , very painful. My left shoulder was also in pain when I tried to raise my arm . Only time my back didn't ache was when I was laid down flat couch or bed. Tried different otc meds , doctors etc, nothing really helped a whole lot. Then a friend recommended I try the CBD tincture he was using, it has been nothing short of a game changer for me. I would say if my pain was a 10 it has reduced it to a 2. I use the high potency 3000mg of actual CBD per bottle, and take about 30-35mg of actual CBD twice daily with the dropper. You have to be careful and get the right product, there are some that are not so good on the market. The two different brands I have used and would recommend either are Lazarus Naturals or Humble Roots. I was very skeptical about spending the money at first but now can't thing going with out.

I haven't tried that particular one but was taking another glucosamine variation for a while. I decided that I was better off banking the money for someday down the line when I need new hips.

I've never noticed any relief from using glucosamine but it has helped our 10 year old Beagle get around better.

Smoking a little weed is a great pain killer, but I think it's the THC that does the job. Now that I'm retired and don't have to pass anybody's whiz quiz, I grow a little for my own use. My state allows up to 4 plants per address, and one outdoor plant will produce a year's supply. The legal limit is 6 ounces, and an outdoor plant will easily produce a couple pounds of dried bud. Indoor plants are more stunted.
