Several, all used and abused.
I saw this on FB and I don’t understand how to read it.

If I have a 500 pound heifer, what would she sell for according to the chart?

That’s the recommend price peer hundredweight (cwt)…don’t ask me I didn’t make the acronym.

So if you have a 500lb heifer it should return between $1,000 (5x200) and $1,250 (5x250) at auction.

Thanks. I was thinking the price was that, but I wasn’t sure.

Those are decent prices.
With the slaughter house fires and droughts accross the Midwest this year we’re seeing unheard of prices around here. My neighbor just sold a load of steers at $2.25/lb, normal price around here was $1.30 or maybe $1.50 if they were really well fed.

I helped a friend load cattle and I guess prices are nuts in my area as well. Made me wish I had some. Heard cull dairy going $1.00/lb or more. That's insane.

Here is one of local auction sites. I remember when sending bull calves it was a great day when you got $1/lb. Now they are pushing $3.50 and if they look like beef $$$$$
