She doesn’t make those chortle noises, but makes all kinds of other ones I’ve never heard a cat do before.

The funniest one is when she wants to play so starts howling in the other room. If you don’t go in, she makes this big funny sound that sounds like Awwwwwwwwwww

We've got one that does that about 3:00am out in the hallway. You'd think she's dying. So you go out there to see if she's barfing up a hairball and she's just sitting there with a toy wanting someone to play with her.

When one of our kid's cats comes to visit, he brings his shoestring into whatever room we're sitting in and howls.
