We are visiting our younger son who recently moved his business from SW Florida to N Florida. Using our camper. Percy usually stays in the camper during the day. He would sleep with us and in morning wake us by tapping the curtain that is at our head area. He did this this morning. And suddenly took a couple deep breaths and mowed in pain twice and went limp he died quickly.
I hope everyone else has a better day.
Now we will leave tomorrow back to N. Georgia and lay him to rest on our property.View attachment 850135

This is jasmine a 7 pound 13 year old bengal. This pic is a few years old. We got another bengal a month or ago. The second pic dolly she’s 5 years old. They basically look the same but dolly is like 16 pounds or so.

Thanks everyone.
It really was a shock to us. He was playing with the window shade minutes before.
Gracie passed Christmas day but she was 18, on thyroid pills and we were prepared. She lived a good life.
So sorry the loss of yours, what a shock.

I have been trying to stay busy today helping my son. Tomorrow morning we are traveling home 350 miles and will bury him there. He was just a great cat.

Just read your story.

I am so very sorry.

Your kitty was fortunate to have your family in his life. I’m sure he was very happy.

It’s hard on you guys. Just remember all the great times you had together.

We've had our last few cats cremated. It's easier for us to keep them that way until family members are in town. In the spring we take them out to the tree farm and bury them in the pet cemetery we have there.
