Cat 2 Quick Hitch?

What are my options for a Cat 2 quick hitch?

I have extendable lower arms to make hooking up easier and I don't change implements often but every time I do struggle with changing them...I question my decision not having one.

Can you run Cat 1 implements with the Cat 2 QH if you use the sleeves?

Or do I need special pins for all of the implements to use a QH?

You can get a Land Pride's QH20 3-Point Quick-Hitch or a different brand and use the bushing on the cat 1 implements.........

The Cat 2 quick hitch dimensions are different--larger. We have a MX5800 also. All of our implements/attachments are either Cat 1 or Cat1/Cat2 compatible, with the sole exception of a Kubota ballast box. That ballast box is just a little wider than a Cat 1 quick hitch will fit. We bought a Cat 1 quick hitch from Everything Attachments. It works well for everything except the ballast box but on some attachments, especially older ones, we have to use an adapter like this: Adapter Bracket Hitch 3-point Quick Adjustment Holes | Agri Supply 8717 We use that adapter for the Cat 1 brush hog, for example. (You hook the "U" end of the adapter to the top of the quick hitch by running the top link pin through both the adapter and the top of the quick hitch.) Everything Attachments also sells an adapter for use when the top link on the attachment is too high to be reached by the typical quick hitch.

You will need a welder and maybe more effort than you want to put into it but I am a big fan of these Euro style hooks. Both Cat 2 and 2/1 balls fit in the hooks I used.

I just converted my Kubota L5740 to the Euro style hooks on the bottom links and love them! A quick hitch wouldn't work with many of my implements. The Euro hooks are great!! Wish I had installed years ago.
