CaseIH DX45

I have a caseih DX45. I need help with the tachometer connection to the alternator - all the wires are hooked up to the alternator and the instrument panel is relatively new. Does the tach wire run through any relays/fuses, or is it direct to the alt. from the instrument panel? does anyone know of an online site where I can get a wiring diagram. My power shift is only working in low - no response when I push the button for high.
