Case international 245 no drive

The tractor clutch works fine when cold. After warm up and several clutch depressions, it appears the clutch stops engaging. Tractor won't move, no drive to the wheels. I replaced the clutch, no difference. The PTO works fine, and symptoms appear in all three drive ranges. I suspect something in the hydraulic system but don't even know where to start.

I am pretty sure your 245 is gear drive and not hydrostat drive, correct? It isn't a hydraulic issue if it's gear drive. It sounds like the clutch is out of adjustment and barely engaging the flywheel and when it gets a little warm, it starts slipping. When this happens is it completely sudden or does it get progressively worse?

I suggest trying a test, if it is slipping it will be more pronounced in high gears than low. Try to move the tractor into a position where you can put the tractor under a heavy load after the tractor/clutch has had an oportunity to cool. Put it in high range 3rd gear and see if it slips right away. If it does, put it in low range 1st gear and see if it slips. If not or it's noticably better, i'd start looking at adjustments and all moving parts starting at the pedal and work my way back to the pressure plate and flywheel if necessary.

If straight gear drive there should be no hydraulics involved.

Was the flywheel, pressure plate and clutch disk all done together?
