Morning All,

I have a hydraulic fluid leaking from the transmission. The 3 bolt plate (under the input shaft) holding the front bearing on the countershaft is dripping oil. Can I remove this plate, or slide it forward a 1/4 inch to clean-silicone the bearing plate (siliconed currently) without disassembling the transmission. I fear something falling out of place (shim or counter shaft dropping down to far) Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Update: yes you can remove the front bearing plate with out any troubles with the shaft and bearing. The person who worked on it last did not seal the plate 1/8 inch gap in the sealer.

Thank you all for at least looking at my concern.
