Case David Brown 1210 won't shift

This one is for sale locally. Ad says it won't shift, and hasn't been run in several years. No other info, but price is at $800. What do y'all think? I sure could use a tractor in this price range if the repairs aren't too difficult. I have pretty good mechanical skills but have never repaired a tranny.

I have a 1210 and am fairly familiar with them. The synchronizing method in the 12 speed transmission uses some fairly small springs (6 of them) that will rust away if the fluid is not kept clean. So if you have a problem getting it into 2nd or 3rd, that's probably what it is. If it won't shift into any gear, then I'd say that the shifter pawls themselves are worn or broken.
