case 90xt skid steer

Hello i found a 2001 case 90xt with 80 hours on for a great price and was wondering if there was anyway of finding out if this has been stolen, has a lein on it or anything like that? Thanks in advance for all the info

Copy the vehicle identification number ( V.I.N ) off of the unit. This will be located on the frame, not the motor. The motor no. is a separate no. used to identify the model of the engine. Take the V.I.N. number to a Case dealer and have them run it through their computer network to see if it is stolen. If you have no dealer close, go to a police department and have them run a check on the V.I.N. Stolen construction equipment is a big problem and a big ticket for thieves. Be careful, if you buy stolen equipment it can be confiscated with no reimbursement to you.
