Just purchased 1986 Case 580E 4x4, 4-in1 bucket backhoe with 6,561 hours that seller guarantee it starts and runs perfect except it won't shift forward or backward and that it needs transmission shuttle. Never got a chance to start it because the transmission shuttle is already taken out. Just bought shuttle repair kit to rebuild it. Don't know (or believe) how long it's being sitting or maintenance done so far and would like to put this backhoe in top form before putting it to work. So what other parts do I need to replace or service should be performed after the shuttle rebuild before this machine is put into operation. Please advice.
