On my 580C I have the dreaded, "reverse no forward" disorder. Ok. So after much research, I was fairly confident that I needed to rebuild my shuttle. check! did that. Put things back together, and guess what.....no change. I also, at the same time, bought another 580c parts tractor. So, I thought maybe I would switch shuttles. So I did. Now I have forward, but no neutral or reverse, and actually, the gears grind if you try to shift into 1 or 2 or 3 or 4th. I have checked the linkage between the cab lever and the shifting mechanism and now I am STUMPED. I thought I was going to save some money not having to go do the local dealer, but now I don't know if I will at all.
