Case 470 vs. Ford 2000

Hello All,

I have been looking at a Ford 2000 gasser '72 model with 1650 hours. It is clean as a whistle, fresh paint and garage kept for $3,300. Then today I ran across a Case 470 diesel '70 model with a loader for $5,500. It shows a lot more use than the Ford, and I can get it for $4,500 without the loader. I intend to use the tractor for mowing, moving logs, and generally just keeping up about 10 acres. Any thoughts on these tractors would be greatly appreciated.

I think I would go for the ford. Reason being they are more simple to work on than a diesel, cost is cheaper, looks better, and they generally have the same hp. I believe the ford parts are easier to get a hold of also.
