Case 450 Dozer weight

My brother has a Case 450 bulldozer with an enclosed cab. He wants to purchase a trailer to haul it but cannot find the weight listed in the manual. Does anyone know what it might be? Thank you.

What series is it. Usually a letter behind the number, such as 450G. You can probally look it up at richiespecs.com.

On the safe side, probably should be looking at an 18,000 - 20,000 GVW trailer.

All that they list for 450xx of anything is their skid steer and CTL. The 450 dozer is old.

Based on my experience, your Case 450 dozer should weigh in at aroung 12,000 lbs. max. including the cab. Slightly more if it has a winch, arch, etc. I would recommend a 16,000 to 18,000 lb. GVW gooseneck trailer if you're pulling it with a class 3 truck, or a pintle/lunette hitch for class 5 truck and above.
