Contact Bob Meyers at Case, Colt and Ingersoll Garden Tractor Parts Hydraulic pumps can be opened up and inspected for wear but you have to know what to look for. You could take it to a hydraulics repair shop and get their opinion or just install it and then run a pressure test on it.
